MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED

TWO WHITE PAPER PLATES

PINK ACRYLIC PAINT

LENGTH OF RIBBON OR CORDING

HEART-SHAPED CANDIES

EQUIPMENT YOU WILL NEED

PAINTBRUSH, CRAFT GLUE

SINGLE-HOLE PUNCH

FANCY-EDGED AND REGULAR SCISSORS

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Use pink acrylic to paint back sides of both plates. Let dry.

2. Paint the front side of one of the plates halfway down. Let dry.

3. Take the plate with the unpainted front side, and with fancy-edged scissors, trim the plate not quite
halfway down. Place plates together so that outsides of plates are facing out.

4. Use hole punch to punch holes in both plates, keeping edges of plates aligned.

5. Thread ribbon or cord through holes in plate, leaving enough at each end so that the Caddy can easily
hang over a doorknob. Tie tails of ribbon together in a bow or a knot.

6. Glue candies to front of Caddy with craft glue. Keep the Caddy lying flat while craft glue dries.

7. When dry, the Caddy is ready to hang on the doorknob of your senior's room.

Have fun with your loved one! Happy Valentine's Day!
