Tray Service
Residents
are expected to dine in the dining room. However, from time to time the need
may arise for meals to be temporarily brought to your room. Our staff will accommodate
tray service during temporary illness, etc. Staff will return to your room to
pick up the tray and assist you as needed.
Visitor Dining
Friend or
family visiting? Please feel free to invite a visitor to join you in the dining
room for a meal. Simply notify the cook in advance that you will be having a
guest. Guest meals are $5.00.
Special Parties
Should you
wish to entertain privately or you wish to conduct a party such as birthday party please communicate with the administrator
to arrange appropriate space and planning.
Menu
Menus are
pre-planned and on both a seasonal and 4 week cycle. Working together, everyone
is involved with the constant suggestions and promotion of quality standards in the dining room. Residents are encouraged to submit favorite recipes to the administrator and cook.
Policy on Alcohol
Kemp Meadows
Assisted Living Centers do not serve alcohol. Residents are encouraged to avoid
consuming alcohol outside of the facility, without first verifying with their physician, the safety of alcohol consumption
with their medications or health diagnosis.
Transportation
The administrator will coordinate special outings and transportation. Should you require special transportation, other than the outings arranged by the
administrator, please contact the administrator 36 hours in advance. The administrator
may assist in arranging transportation to physician visits. If the center provides
transportation it is a cost of $10/trip for delivery and pick-up. If continuous
service is required, fees will be adapted accordingly and attendants may be employed as needed.
